Not So Common Application Service offers COVID-RELATED UPDATES
Rather than scrolling endlessly through the internet for updates, here are a few central places that can keep you informed.
College Admission Status Update Tool (NACAC) – The National Association for College Admission Counseling has created a tool that compiles campus changes to college admission due to the coronavirus outbreak.
College Reopening Plans (Fall 2020) – A group of students are updating this resource, by college, that details how schools are planning to re-open, and whether they are planning for in-person or remote instruction, or some form of hybrid.
COLLEGE LIST RESEARCH
College Virtual Tours and Admissions Events – A great resource to help students research colleges from home. This spreadsheet lists virtual college admission events, (since reps aren’t visiting in person in 2020), and virtual campus tours from a number of useful sites.
What’s Happening to Fly-In Programs in 2020? – This list from College Greenlight includes how colleges are continuing to offer opportunities to explore what their schools have to offer.
ACT/SAT UPDATES
Fall 2021 Test Optional Schools – A list of schools offering optional submission of SAT/ACT scores in the 2021 admissions cycle.
